We are continually and pleasantly surprised at all the clever ideas our supporters come up with to raise money and awareness for the Prostate Project.
The latest came from Charlotte Edwards and her friends, who proposed to hold a Masterclass in Drawing fundraiser. Of course, tickets quickly sold out.
Charlotte told that thirty somewhat tentative villagers came to West Clandon village hall to try their hand at drawing a face under the expert tuition and guidance of local artist, Maggie Scott
With a glass of wine in one hand and a charcoal in the other, the creative juices started to flow and, following a hearty supper, by the end of the evening, everyone had produced a very creditable “living face” and went home with new tips and tricks under their belt.
And an astonishing £1796 was raised on the night.
A big thank you to everyone involved!
