Help Us Fight Prostate Cancer

Sponsorship Proposal:

Help Take Life-Saving Prostate Cancer Testing to More Men

Why this matters

Prostate cancer is often silent in its early stages. A simple PSA blood test can be the first step towards earlier diagnosis, and earlier diagnosis saves lives.

Since 1998, the Prostate Project has worked from its base at The Stokes Centre for Urology at Royal Surrey County Hospital to improve treatment, fund research, raise awareness and, more recently, bring PSA testing directly into communities.

We are volunteer led, locally rooted and nationally recognised. We have raised more than £11 million and taken the clear, urgent message to tens of thousands of people: get PSA tested.

Our mobile PSA blood testing clinic, the Man Van, turns awareness into action.

Funded by a £200,000 public campaign, this specially adapted vehicle now brings testing to public events, sporting occasions, workplaces, business parks and community venues across Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.

In addition to the public facing appearances, the Man Van has also attended a cross-party prostate cancer testing day at the House of Commons, the British Car Show, the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride and Broadmoor Hospital, demonstrating both the reach of the service and the strength of the cause.

The opportunity

We are seeking a corporate sponsor to help keep the Man Van on the road and expand access to life-saving PSA testing. A sponsorship commitment in the region of £10,000 per year would directly support event attendance, testing delivery and the practical costs of reaching more men where they live, work and gather.

What your sponsorship delivers

This is not simply a donation. It is a visible, values-led partnership with a trusted charity, a highly recognisable community asset and a cause that affects families, workplaces and communities across the region.

In return for your support, we can provide prominent recognition across the Man Van itself, our newsletters and e-bulletins, social media channels, letterheads, email signatures, website and well-read blog.

We can also bring the Man Van to your workplace, creating a practical employee wellbeing opportunity while supporting positive PR, press introductions and community engagement.

By sponsoring the Man Van, your business will help remove barriers to early testing, support a trusted local charity and stand publicly behind a simple, powerful goal, giving more men a better chance of beating prostate cancer.
