Here is a very quick story about how great businesses do wonderful things and what can happen when they do.
One of our volunteers recently popped into Edwins Garden Centre in Clandon Park, near Guildford. While parking the car, he noticed a van bearing the Prostate Project logo, it belonged to Sanaway Washroom Services.
Not one to miss an opportunity for a chat, he popped over to say hello to the driver, and thank them for all the great work that the company does supporting the Prostate Project.
During the course of the natter, the owner of Edwins came over and introduced himself. He explained that they had been using Sanaway for years, that they were a pleasure to deal with and how he really appreciated the quality and attention offered by this independently owned business.
Edwins owner, Lee was quite surprised that our volunteer not only knew Sanaway, but that he also knew quite a lot about ‘One’, The UKs first unisex hygiene solution for all washroom environments, a key part of Sanaway’s service.
The reason for this was that our man had recently volunteered at a PSA testing Day at the Guildford offices of Sanaway clients, Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and had met Patrick Martin, a Sanaway director and one of the people responsible for organising the testing day.
So, this one chance encounter revealed a connection between three wonderful businesses Sanaway, Surrey Satellite Technologies and Edwins.
Keep an eye out for companies that support the Prostate Project, and other charities of course, it’s often a reliable sign that they will be good people to do business with.
