Congratulations to Danny Palmer who not only completed the Tour de 4, but also raised a staggering £5,235 (and counting) for us in the process!
Tour de 4 is a brand new cycling initiative, born from Sir Chris Hoy’s vision to change perceptions around stage 4 cancer following his own diagnosis. Encouraging those affected by cancer directly or indirectly to come together for this inaugural event, anyone who can ride a bike was encouraged to take part. It’s a 56 mile hilly route and was certainly a challenge for Danny, who was treated at the Stokes Centre for Urology at the Royal Surrey Hospital and wanted to give something back.
Danny is a true inspiration! His fundraising page is still open: GoFundMe
