Congratulations to Dr Nicola Annels who won the Azenta Life Sciences GENEWIZ Sequencing and Quantification Award! Dr Annels and her team’s excellence and innovative work in advancing genomics research was recognised. This award enables Dr Annels to choose her preferred measurement toolkit with funding towards NGS or Sanger sequencing applications.
Nicola will use her award towards our Phd student James Thetford’s project on understanding ethnic disparities in prostate cancer clinical outcomes – why black men are 2x likely to get prostate cancer compared to other men.
