Singing For You – Summer Concert
Odd Fellows Male Voice Choir are a group of men based in the Hampshire/Surrey area who love to sing. Founded in 1960 to sing in the Aldershot Music Festival, approaches to local church choirs brought volunteers from many backgrounds with an odd one from here and an odd one from there, so the name “Odd Fellows” was coined.
They aim to entertain our audiences, to raise money for charity and to have fun doing it!
They have been privileged to be invited to sing at Festivals around the country and in Germany, including 6 appearances at the Royal Albert Hall in the London Welsh Festival of Male Voices.
In their concerts, they try to cater for all tastes with a repertoire ranging from classical to modern, from anthems and spirituals to show tunes and popular songs. They provide our services to charities and help to raise around £10,000 each year for local good causes and we are honoured that they have chosen the Prostate Project for as their charity for this concert.
